Questions and Answers on Book Marketing
I did a Q&A for a writer’s blog the other day. I thought I’d share the questions and answers here as well.
Question: John, we love your site www.Bookmarket.com (especially the free stuff page and your Book Marketing Tip of the Week newsletter!).
How did you find your way into being a book promo expert?
The answers and the rest of this article have now been moved to

Ted . . .
The key to book marketing in this new age of the Internet is to develop relationships with top websites and bloggers who already are targeting your topic and/or your audience. Once you have established a relationship, ask them if you can write a guest post on their website or blog. Or ask them to interview you. Or do a review of your book. Or recommend you and/or your book to their fans.
The course that I’ve created that addresses this approach most directly is my Blog Tour Palooza program: http://www.bookmarket.com/blog-tour-palooza.htm.

John, what came first-the chicken or egg? I know that this is an unusual question to ask, but that is the quandary I’m in. I have had my book published but I am lost when it comes to marketing. I have several envelopes to open and pursue, but what should come first?
I have started a business named The Old Gezzers Press, but what is the most logical process. I speak of crowd funding. web site, blogging and social networking. What is a landing page? If you could shed some light on my quandry, I would sure appreciate it. I’m 67 and not as computer literate as I should be, I am ashamed to admit. I appreciate your help as I know you are a high paid consultant.
Respectfully
